With over 25 years of experience and admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Kevin Grierson brings significant experience to a national practice centered on trademark prosecution, software licensing, and strategic patent and trademark portfolio management. He also served as CM Law’s Intellectual Property Co-Chair for Trademarks during the first seven years of the firm’s existence, helping shape and grow the practice from its inception. Clients range from innovative tech startups to established Fortune 500 companies, each benefiting from his hands-on, results-driven approach.
Kevin guides clients through every facet of intellectual property law, from trademark prosecution and infringement analysis to domain name cybersquatting disputes and complex licensing arrangements. He is known for crafting IP strategies that protect and enhance the value of his clients’ most critical assets.
Beyond his intellectual property work, Kevin serves as trusted outside general counsel for several companies, advising on a broad spectrum of contractual and commercial matters. Kevin also serves as a consulting intellectual property counsel to other law firms, providing specialized counsel when their clients’ needs extend beyond the primary firm’s capabilities.
