CM Law is pleased to welcome Phoenix, AZ-based J.P. Harrington Bisceglia as an Insurance Litigation Partner. She represents both insureds and insurance carriers in complex litigation matters, including bad-faith claims, insurance coverage disputes, professional liability matters, and general civil litigation. Her practice spans personal and commercial lines, first- and third-party claims, and all stages of litigation from assessment and investigation through trial and appeal.
Recognized for her advocacy and client service, J.P. is an 11-time Super Lawyers Stars selectee and holds the prestigious Martindale-Hubbell AV-Preeminent Rating. She has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in the areas of Insurance Law and Litigation–Insurance and is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America.
J.P. practices in Arizona and New Mexico State and Federal courts and has participated in 12 trials over the course of her career, several of which were tried to verdict. She was second chair in a significant bad-faith and breach-of-insurance contract trial that resulted in a unanimous defense verdict in favor of the insurance carrier — a verdict later recognized by Arizona Attorney Magazine as a significant defense verdict.
Strategic and practical, J.P. prioritizes early case assessment and efficient litigation planning to help clients achieve favorable outcomes through discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, settlement, or trial when necessary. J.P. will carry cases through the appellate courts for her clients, ensuring continuity and a mastery of all factual and legal nuances as needed.
In addition to her litigation practice, J.P. is deeply involved in the legal community. She serves on the Executive Board of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and contributes to diversity initiatives through the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys and the Maricopa County Bar Association.
